Today I made a bread. It’s called a challe and it smells delicious. I wonder how it tastes. Let you know after tonight

Oct 17th I was operated again on my shoulder. I had to start physical therapy the third day and finally after 3 years I have no pain during and after therapy. And the best news is there is actually movement in my shoulder. I have still a long road to go but there is a start.
With all that extra time I’ve done a lot off reading. Maeve Binchy, Jodi Piccoult and Chantal van Gastel is one of my latest favorites. Love the books.
I hope to do some knitting in the near future but for now the books will do.

It’s been a long time before I got back into knitting. Crocheting was easier on my shoulder but now that I finally got the knitting on the go I tried doubleknitting. A Mario scarf to be. Here you can find the free pattern
Today I went back to the surgeon. After a long time of therapie (very painfull) he is going to operate on my shoulder again. It’s scheduled for oct. 17th. Hopefully the scarf will be finished by then.

Lately I’ve done a lot of reading. This week I read two very good books.
First, Her name was Sarah written by T. de Rosnay. A book about the Vel d’Hiv in France
Second, 1953 written by Rik Launspach. A book about the North Sea Flood
I read throug both in about 3 days, I just couldn’t put them down.
I’ll be reading some more. My shoulder still doesn’t cooperate so I still can’t knit or do much else then read good books.

I know, it’s been a long time since my last post. That’s because things aren’t improving for my shoulder.
I went to another specialist for a second opinion and he told me I got a frozen shoulder after the operation. He gave me a very painfull injection. The pain has gone down because of that. But I’m still using painmeds to sleep at night.
On october 28 I have to go back for an echo of my shoulder and he will most likely inject the calcivication at that time too.
I hope to post pictures in the upcoming weekend of some old finished projects.

It´s been two months since I had surgery on my shoulder and it still isn´t going to well. You could say it´s worse then before I had the surgery. I hardly can move my shoulder. Cleaning the house is a task that I let my husband handle. I can get the laundry down stairs throwing it down the stairs. And he get´s to do the faulding.
Today I went to my physical therapist and they made an echo. It´s still the calcium deposit in the rotator cuff that´s causing all the problems. I have no idea how it´s going to continue from now on.
At least i get the change to improve my watermarble skills.
