Last thursday I was watching you tube video’s on Nail art. Today I had to try it for myself. This is the result of a night off creativity and a € 1.30 stampset. Hopefully they will last a week.
Have a nice weekend!

Time is going to fast. I can hardly keep up with things.
I’m working on my son’s crocheted blanket. This is the year I’ll finish it for him. Halfway through it looks like this
It now meassures 80×80 cm pre-blocked. So I’m making the same amount of squares again to make him a blanket that will be 80×160. That’s I nice size for a 6 year old.
Also worked on some dishcloths. Still in progress of finishing the clues for the Kal, but did finish this house cloth designed by Krisknits
I hope to be a better blogger. Wishing you all a very nice day!

Yes indeed, the first finished project for 2010 is ready. And it’s Zozo.
Here he is playing in the snow.
And here he’s defrosting near the pc.
With this finished I had to find some other projects to work on. And this will be my year for dishcloths. So I joined a KAl that’s hosted by Kris at KrisKnits. I finished the first clue and I’m waiting for the next. In the mean time I’m browsing through ravelry in search of other nice dishcloth patterns.
Have a nice day!

Recently I finished the monkey socks I was making. Dec 4th to be exact.
I then started some new projects.
A mystery hat designed by Tucana. Which turned out too funny. Just finished.
And some socks designed by Selena, called het sokkenpad (sockpath).
Have a great day!

I pre-ordered wendyknits new book, Toe-up Socks For Every Body at van Stockum. It’s supposed to come out on march 23 2010, so i have to be very patient for it. But I’m glad that I could order it already.
Since my son got his call for his swimming lessons I have had lots of time to do some knitting while I wait for him to finish.
I finished this bathpuff
And this fuzzy scarf
And a washing glove
This afternoon he has his swimming lesson again, I’ll probably be working on some socks then.
Last night I began carrotcake for the second edition of sokketiers, very nice yarn and a beautiful pattern.
But I think I’ll take my Monkey’s along
Have a great weekend!

I just love knitting up the patterns that come with the dutch sock club Sokketiers. This was the last pattern for 2008/2009.
Istia
I had to get other buttons because there where only 8 buttons with this kit and according to the pattern you had to make 5 buttonholes for each sock. So my son picked these to go with the socks.
I´m in for the next Sokketiers and I can´t wait to get my package which should be here any day now.

I finished the third pair of the Sokketiers socks quite some time ago but forgot to make a post about them. I’ve also finished the last pair but still need to sew the buttons on and take some pictures. Hopefully I’ll get to do that tomorrow.
So here they are, some gorgeous Trevi’s.
Last week I made some new soaps again. One scented with Frank’n Myrh which turned brown on me and I had to do some rescueing while I made it.
And a tuberose soap, colored with beet powder.
